Adapting to customers’ needs

In an interview given to Ingénieurs de l’Automobile magazine for its September 2022 issue, Salah Aksas, Director of Operations and in charge of the development of the ADAS division at SHERPA Engineering, explains how the company has organised and structured itself in order to adapt to the changing needs of its customers, in particular with the creation of an ADAS and Autonomous Vehicles division in 2016.
It was an opportunity to demonstrate the company’s strong investment in R&D, its ability to capitalise on experience and skills in these activities in particular, and to present its innovative solutions to support its customers, particularly in the maturing of their innovations.

IBIS: A revolution in battery architecture for electric vehicles and stationary storage

IBIS (Intelligent Battery Integrated System) is a collaborative research project carried out in France, bringing together industrial and academic players, Stellantis, Saft (Total Energies Group), E2CAD, SHERPA Engineering, as well as several CNRS laboratories (GeePs, SATIE, LEPMI) and the Lafayette Institute. This project is financed by the Plan France 2030, led by ADEME.
