Objective


Sherpa's objective is to build a validation process based on an approach by model to ensure total mastering of control system (CS).
Our expertise in modelling and control allowed us to conduct research projects approved by OSEO and supported by the competitiveness cluster Systematic / NUMATEC, one of whose consequences was the development of processes, methodologies, tools and test facilities for validation.

Sherpa Engineering develops physical models of vehicle, thermal engine, conventional hybrid powertrain, air conditioning, under-cooling system,…


Components library

Sherpa Engineering has developped a library of polymorphic components and multiphysics super- elements (PhiSim) in Simulink, allowing to assemble models of complex physical executable in real time.

This library is used for editing and simulation of overall system dynamic models including the representation of the actuators, the physical system, the sensors, control and environment.

Skills of Sherpa Engineering cover the entire validation cycle of control systems :

• Development of real time physical model for the tests of control in closed loop.
• Setting models adapted to the required level of abstraction and necessary precision for the tests
• Configuration, integration, tuning of virtual or hybrid bench or electronics integration platforms
• Operation of test bench : tests automation, tests execution, verification and validation of the benefits and requirements, synthesis reports

Hardware in the loop test bench

• Sherpa Engineering is heavily involved in the design and validation of hardware architectures including supply, packaging of sensors, computer, power interface, HMI and communication.
