Technology transfer

Know-how transfer

The control methodologies and software packages developed and applied by Sherpa can be transferred to users who want to perform applications by themselves.

The kow-how transfer consists of :
  • training session including the basis of the methodology
  • delivery of the CAD tools and a hands-on training session
  • controller source code
  • delivery of the documentation and user guide
  • a manhour credit for assistance on integration, and/or complementary training and/or assistance for implementations
  • delivery of updated versions when available during the guaranty period

Such a technology transfer is usualy performed during a real control implementation. A real control project is the best practicle example.
The Sherpa’s Process Control team made transfers of the Model Based Predictive Control (MBPC) to more than twenty companies (engineering, service and end-users) in the world : Argentina, China, Great Britain, Italy, Japan, Korea, France, United States.
